It's Uploaded!

Yes, that is right! I uploaded all my files for manuscript and pictures, back cover info and suggested picture for the front! Wow!!!! I can hardy believe it! Actually uploaded! Now, if they are all fine and don't need any changes, and if they can get right to them, maybe my book can go to publication soon!!!!!!!!! You can jump up and down and scream if you want. (I did.:)) Well, wouldn't YOU if you had been working on a book for over 6 years?

Excited as Tigger!

Yes, I am as excited as Tigger!:) All of my chapters now have proofers! Thank you Mrs. L., Mrs. B., Mrs. H. and Heidi! I have received 11 of them, made the corrections in 4, am expecting 12 in the mail today or tomorrow and the rest should be to me by the end of the week! Maybe next week I'll be able to post and say it's all to the publisher. :) Wouldn't that be fun! Anyway, wanted to update you all.

Help Wanted

Well, I was hoping to have all of my book uploaded to the publisher by now, but things have taken longer than I had hoped. My cousin, who was proofing, is sending what she got proofed so I can make the corrections. The Hansens are still working on proofing from the end of the book backward. Still, there are 20 chapters that are still needing proofed for spelling and punctuation. If you can proof a chapter or two or know of someone who can, let me know! I'd *love* to have this to the publisher by sometime next week.:) But, I can't do it without your help.

Proofing Post

If you are as eager to see this book in print as I am, you'll be happy to know that things seem to be speeding up now. My cousin, who was doing the proofing, is so busy with school that when I found someone else who volunteered to help proof, she was greatly relieved. Dory said she'd have the book in the mail to me by Valentine's Day. I've already e-mailed the book to my new proofers (I found out that there would be two of them.:)) Kathy and Heidi Hansen! Thanks so much both of you!! I know my book is in good hands with you proofing. And I'll be sure to keep you in mind when I'm ready for another book to be proofed.:)

And so, that is the update. I'll keep you informed when more happens.
